Tokyo in November
After coming to Tokyo nothing terribly excited happened. We wandered a bit around Akihabara first.
Next day we went to Shinjuku area to find some jeans shop we remember from out first visit and totally failed to do so.
But we had lunch at a nice cafe. This is Ksusha's dessert,
And my sandwiches. Very tasty.
For dinner we went to some very nice tonkatsu restaurant in Shinjuku underground passage.
Next day we did not do anything special as I needed to perform some actual work, but we had a dinner with a friend at a traditional Japanese restaurant near Iidabashi station.
In a couple of more days we also went to Tokyo Lalaport and while otherwise unremarkable, we had some lunch too.
Takoyaki we had at the Lalaport.
Delivery day. After some struggle I was able to buy a "not for sale" Steins;Gate IBN5100 computer and Ksusha got a small yo-midi Reisner from Yahoo!Auctions.
Akihabara again. Some poor guy washes a sidewalk in front of a shop.
This is another kaiten sushi place, near Ningyocho station where our apartment is.
The place is pretty high-tech. Aside from the normal beltwith sushi, you can also order special stuff on a touch screen above.
Then your order is delievered by the "express train" on the tracks above the slow belt directly to you, so nobody could intercept it.
Closeup of the express train. It can fit up to four dishes.
A few more days later... lunch at a mall in Tachikawa on Nov 23rd
And then we departed to Kyoto on the 24th, but there's going to be a separate post about it.
