Supercomputing 2011

While we have not finished publishing the Paris trip yet, we have been on the go constantly ever since then.

Just this Friday we got back from SuperComputing 2011 conference and I am publishing some pictures of it now with more to follow.

SC11 was held in Seattle this time.

The pictures start with a lunch we had at Oba-san sushi restaurant right after we have arrived on Nov 12th.

After the lunch we checked into our hotel. Feeling very tired we fallen asleep almost instantly we woke up just in time for dinner ;)

The dinner was in an Indian restaurant.

The day 2 was all busy with presentations in the morning and then I got to the SC show floor before it was opened to the general public.

People were frantically installing their stuff.

Then in the evening there was an event at EMP museum for SC11 exhibitors. Lots of tasty food and all, also the music museum (central keypiece was about Nirvana when I visited).

Since Ksusha was not allowed to this event, I did not spend a lot of time there either.

This concludes the day 4 in Seattle.

We'll continues with pictures from there as time permits (need to fly to another nice place in a few hours...)
