On our third day in Kyoto we actually went to Kobe instead. We had an agreement with a friend to visit Kobe university supercomputer center, and also to see around while there and to visit another Volks store.
We have arrived to the Shin-Kobe station initially, and this is the view out of the station window.
After coming to Tokyo nothing terribly excited happened. We wandered a bit around Akihabara first.
Third day started from breakfast too
Earlier this month we went to Japan, for an extended period of time too.
This trip started with a visit to Nikko in the hopes to catch some of the fall colors there.
On November 7th our plane has arrived and for a change we used Keisei Skyliner to get out of Narita:
I've been working on various Nook HD/HD+ improvements lately and wanted to capture some instructions here so that people are able to do some of this stuff by themselves as the need arises.
I have a script that automates creation of sdcard images from B&N update zips (only tested on 2.1.x images so far) and also creates unlocked boot images to be usd for stock installs in internal memory.
With some more travel coming out soon, I decided to catch up on some earlier travels.
This short post will cover my short trip to Beijing and Tokyo that I had early this year.
Not so long ago, we got a new members to our Dollfie family! There were actually three of them, but today I will introduce only two to you. And those two are legends from Japanese history - Sakamoto Ryōma and his wife Narasaki Ryō! Who came to us from Dolls Party 29. This is a very beautiful couple, and they have just gorgeous traditional Japanese outfits and shoes!
I have decided to post some old pictures little by little and finally today introduce to you Yukinojo Sawagari from Volks "Tokyo Boys Story". I already mentioned him before in the post about Hot Tokyo boys. But, today you will see him entirely and will learn his further story! So, are you ready? Then let's go!
His gorgeous shoes~
It so happened that I've got Volks SD16 Boots (SB-SD16G-043) from Dolpa Osaka 7 with problematic heels. They are really beautiful boots, so it was a little bit sad. But it turned out that they could be fixed! And today I will share with you how to fix problems like this! It's very easy, thanks to the shoemaker from our local Shoe Repair place!
Here are those already fixed boots. Really nice ones, don't you think so?
