On March 15th we have attended Hometown Dolpa Kyoto 11 (also visited Japan, but more about that in another post).
This was actually a very strange Dolpa - very short and very few limited items, also somewhat strange rules.
This time around there were three lines - the General admission line, Sumika shop line and the limited items line. Technically you could only go to one according to the rules and also you could only draw one number, no line switching. In reality line-switching was permitted and they allowed you to draw multiple numbers too, just like in the past. Phew.
Also in this area was a display area of the limited items themselves:
My turn to line up, the line was outside and only started to form after general admission line entered the exhibition hall, which was pretty strange since usually the entryways are separate and the first limited items line people get to enter about at the same time as the general admission line. You can see the table with staff handing out purchase right tickets.
It turned out there were only about 30 of DD Sisters before they reverted to mailorders, and also about 200 of everything else as just behind me stuff started to sell out and people we know that got number 400 were not able to buy anything at all. These low stock numbers are very surprising and pretty unusual, frequently limited doll stocks go over a thousand.
I went to the area that had Shinsengumi and other limited items display first as the light there was much better:
The whole Shinsengumi team.
And now moving to One-off display area
Now moving on to some visitors dolls
The pace was very hectic due to reduced event duration (closing at 3pm, where as normally it lasts until 5pm at the least).
And also One-for-all Auction this time had two Suigintous in different outfits and makeups.
Due to lack of time, I also had no way to run through dealers and take any pictures.
There were 3 Kasumis there by some chance.
And now moving on to Sumika limited items (clothes and accessories):
Also at the end there was the traditional bingo game. And this time around Ksusha won another Rei-Tenshi!
And this concludes the HT Dolpa Kyoto 11.
