HT Dolpa Kyoto 10

On March 9th there was a hometown Dolpa in Kyoto that we attended.

There was a huge crowd at the entrance and a usual "draw your entry number" kind of system. Even though we had 7 guidebooks (that serve as a ticket to enter), we drawn some terrible numbers all over 2000 that would provide us no chances to get anything of value.

Luckily we went to Dolpa with many friends (which seems to be the recommended mode of operations) and some of them got a much-much better number than us. One of them was so kind as to give their number to us too.

So I went to the limited items line area and Ksusha stayed at the dealer access line.

Before starting the limited items purchasing process first there were some physical exercises:

Then they lined us up and let in to the limited items tickets. Thanks to the low number, I was able to get everything I wanted for us and our friends.

Afterwards there was a good view at the entire dolpa event space from the second floor balcony. This is dealers area.

Surprisingly, even at Tenraijin I drawn a good prize: a Rei-Tenshi doll (pretty small one). So here I am trying to tell in Japanese where I am from Wink

Bingo
After my luck the next number won got a lot of winners (29 more) for only 20 remaining prizes in Tenraijin. Ksusha got one slot there.

Bingo
Long line of winners.

The rock-paper-scissors game decided who will get to draw at Tenraijin and in what order. Ksusha managed to be #4, but as is typically happens with us, only got a set of postcards.

Actually we also got Saitō Hajime, but since we already made close enough picture of him at the Dolpa, we didn't make another at hotel.

And out tiny hotel room in Kyoto Dai-ni Tower hotel that was pretty small and felt even smaller with all the boxes.

Our hotel room in Kyoto
These beds don't look too small and looked even bigger at the hotel website, but in reality they were super tiny.

And this concludes the day.
